Taking time to listen...

The move of the Holy Spirit can be so deep and personal that it's hard to recognize... Other times it's very obvious and can blow you over because sensing His influence in your heart/mind/soul can just be that powerful.

I hope your soul experiences the move of the HS today in a new and exciting way - whether that be a nudge to obedience, a refreshing, a new vision, compassion... or whatever He's trying to impress upon you today.

This scripture and the following comments came through today from Kat Davis/The Daily Verse. It was a great reminder and thought I'd share it with the 4 people who read my blog :)

(And who knows, maybe some others will stumble upon my blog and be blessed by it as well.)

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts...
Hebrews 3:7,8a

If you spend more of your time talking than listening, it's impossible to be fully aware and sensitive to what's happening around you. Take time to listen today. To the people around you, but more importantly, to the voice of the Holy Spirit nudging you. Take a moment to consider doing things His way instead of what your logical mind or sense of routine suggests. He speaks - today, let's listen and follow His guidance.
